Lyrics

Spente le stelle

Quel cuor perdesti
Per un miraggio
Quel cuor tradisti
Odiar di più, non puó !
La mia voce, senti
Il suo dolor… o no ?
La tua sparí
E io, pazza, t’aspetto !

Dimenticar…
O non più vivere
Ormai, salvo…
La notte… la notte… la notte…
Ah !…

Spente le stelle
Col pallido raggio di luna
Piange l’amore
Che si lancia come l’onda poi se ne va
Vuota, la notte
E la sua speranza breve
Ora sgorga l’amaro pianto
Un cuor ferito, disperato passa qua

Dunque fuggisti
I sogni vuoti
Dunque perdesi
I brevi vortici

Dimenticar…
O non più vivere
Ormai, salvo…
La notte… la notte… la notte…
Ah !…

Spente le stelle
Col pallido raggio di luna
Piange l’amore
Che si lancia come l’onda poi se ne va
Vuota, la notte
E la sua speranza breve
Ora sgorga l’amaro pianto
Un cuor ferito, disperato passa qua

Dull are the Stars

You that heart lost
For a mirage
You that heart deceived
To hate more, it cannot !
My voice, do you feel
Its pain… or not ?
Yours disappeared
And I, mad, wait for you !
To forget….
Or not to live anymore
Yet, safe…
Night… night… night…
Ah !…
Dull are the stars
With the pale moonbeam
Cries the love
That shoots itself like a wave then it goes away
Empty, the night
And its brief hope
Now springs the bitter regret
A wounded, hopeless heart passes here
So you escaped
The empty dreams
So you lost
The brief whirls
To forget….
Or not to live anymore
Yet, safe…
Night… night… night…
Ah !…
Dull are the stars
With the pale moonbeam
Cries the love
That shoots itself like a wave then it goes away
Empty, the night
And its brief hope
Now springs the bitter regret
A wounded, hopeless heart passes here
