The Gipsy Kings are a group of musicians from Arles and Montpellier in the south of France who perform in Spanish with an Andalusian accent. Although group members were born in France, their parents were mostly gitanos, Spanish Romani people who fled Catalonia during the 1930s Spanish Civil War. They are known for bringing Catalan rumba, a pop-oriented music distantly derived from traditional flamenco music, to worldwide audiences. The group originally called itself Los Reyes.

Lyrics

Un Amor

Un amor
Un amor vivi llorando
Y mi decía
Las palabras de Dios
Llorando por ti
Es con amor

Un amor
Un amor vivi
Llorando ya tormentado
Las palabras de Dios
Llorando por ti
Es con amor

CORO (x2)
Hay para ya vivir acunto a ti
Me enamoré allá de ti
Ya sin tus besos yo no puedo
Vivir y recordar

Yo quisiera
Para entenderlo, un amor y saber
Que me quería ya tormentado
Las palabras de Dios
Llorando por ti
Es con amor

CORO (x2)

Ay-lo-lai-lo-lai-lo-lai…

One Love

one love
i lived one love
crying and it told me
God’s words
crying for you
it’s with love

one love
i lived a love
crying and tormented
God’s word
crying for you
it’s with love

Ey to live
¿?
i felt in love with you
i cannot live without your kisses
live and remember

i would like
to understand it one love and know
that he loved me and tormented
God’s word
crying for you
it’s with you
